My brother has been in the home for many months, he is happy there, he is always dressed in clean clothes and washed and shaved, the home also is clean and never any bad smells, the staff are brilliant always a smile and nothing is too much for them, CJ the owner is marvellous always has the residents wellbeing and health foremost in his mind, there's nothing I can think of to make any improvements.

I am delighted that we chose Crelake House for dad as the staff are great and the place has a real homely feel. We were down last weekend on 7th and 8th March to visit dad as it was his birthday. One of the members of staff baked him a cake and they all joined us in the conservatory to see him blow out his candles and sing happy birthday. As both my brother and I live 3 1/2 hours a way, we are happy that when we have to head home, we know that he is safe and well looked after.

Crelake House provide a high standard and care and support to its residents. The staff are extremely caring and supportive of the residents needs and wishes. Until our family member recently passed, she was part of the Crelake family for 5 and half years. Over the last 18 months there had been significant investment in the upgrading of rooms and facilities for the residents. With the addition of their own mini bus the residents are now able to access the local community and go on trips around the countryside.

I recently visited crelkae house to assess one of their residents, and I must say, the positive changes since the management transition are truly noticeable. The atmosphere feels much brighter and more welcoming, and it’s heartwarming to see both residents and staff looking so much happier.

My 94 year old cousin spent the last 3 months of her life at Crelake, the staff were very kind and caring. The food was very good and her room very comfortable.
It is a very nice well run home which I would highly recommend.

For all the negativity on the reviews, I must disagree. This was not my first choice of care home for my dad as I looked at the reviews and dismissed the place. Dad was moved in straight from hospital without us being given a choice. I am open minded so thought I would give it a chance. I am so pleased I did. Yes, the decor is a bit tired but the new owner and manager are working on it. However, the dedicated care and humanity of all the staff, management, carers, chefs etc are second to none. They all played their part in making sure my dad was comfortable and cared for in his last few months of life. I can't praise them enough and thank them from the bottom of my heart. Never judge a book by it's cover. It's what is in it that matters.

Crelake House are a wonderful care home. Every member of staff have time for our Dad but also for us. We always feel incredibly welcome. Our Dad has declined quite rapidly this past year and they have all shown him dignity and respect, which during such an awful time for us as a family it has absolutely helped. They are always happy to hear our thoughts and input around Dad's care and they genuinely want what's best for him. If there are ever any issues they're quick to take it on board. Also there have been lots upgrades to the home recently and it looks better every time we go in. And we visit multiple times every week. We are so grateful to the carers and management at Crelake, they all work incredibly hard and are so busy but still greet us with such warmth whenever we are there.

As a healthcare professional I attended today to a resident that had fallen. The staff had got patient off the floor and placed on bed. This is FANTASTIC and I thank them very much for their attitude. Patients are not looked after like this in a lot of homes. I have major respect and truly look forward to visiting them again.
Nice clean ,spacious home with very attentive staff. Highly recommend
